Welcome!  The Northwest Women's Hockey League is dedicated to having a fun and competitive league for female ice hockey players in the greater Seattle area. The league consists of four teams. The teams are drafted at the start of each season following a mandatory evaluation skate. The captains draft players based on skill levels in order to end up with four evenly matched teams. If, after the first three games of the season, teams need to be adjusted the captains may move a few players to equal teams out. Rosters are then finalized for the remainder of the season. | NWHL Web Site
